Ashok Shah
|

|
As the General Manager for the European Business Unit, Ashok Shah oversees the company’s Business Development, Sales, and Operations in Europe. He has more than 20 years experience within the IT industry and has worked in various industry sectors ranging from Retail and Private Banking to Logistics and Transportation.
Prior to joining UST Global, Mr. Shah was with Deutsche Post DHL. His roles at DHL included being the Global Head of Software Development and Global Head of Vendor Management where, as part of the executive team, he was responsible for a development team of more than 1000 people across three continents
Earlier, he held various senior level positions leading operations and technology strategy teams at the NatWest banking group. His last position in the group was as the Head of Strategy for its international private banking arm, Coutts & Co, where he and his team refreshed the 300 hundred year old bank’s manual systems with award winning CRM and integrated customer facing channel applications.
Mr. Shah started his career as an IBM assembly language programmer on mainframes before specializing in communications and distributed systems.
He was born and educated in the UK.
