SQL Database Administrator Location: Manila Must be a graduate of a 4-year degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or any IT related degree Database administration of SQL Server 2000, SQL server 2005 and SQL server 2008 SQL (Knowledge of DDL, DML and DCL) Clustering ( Active/Active or Active/Passive) Production support Backup and Restore Disaster Recovery Migrations SQL Server Security Patches Installations Capacity Planning Performance tuning and maintenance Good Communication Skills, Debugging Skills and Analytical skills T-SQL, SSIS Knowledge on ETL, OLTP Oracle Database Administrator Location: Manila Must be a graduate of a 4-year degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or any IT related degree Solid experience in the administration of Oracle RDBMS 9i RAC & 10g RAC databases Knowledge on Oracle RDBMS 8i is required and ORACLE RDBMS 11g Experience in supporting ASM and Standby databases Good command of SQL (Knowledge of DDL, DML) especially in the database administration and management area and other Oracle Tools Good knowledge of Backup and Recovery using RMAN, SQL BackTrack, hot and cold backups, Dataguard, export/import Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions, preferred Solid experience in UNIX and supporting Oracle on UNIX & Windows Performance tuning experience, including tkprof, AWR, ADDM, StatsPack, tracing sessions, reading explain plans Good experience in applying patches to various Oracle components Good knowledge and experience in cloning databases and migrating databases between platforms is mandatory Experience in installation of Oracle products, including compilation and re-linking experience Knowledge of Oracle Security challenges and solutions Experience in having supported SOX compliant databases Experience with managing a large data infrastructure using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management Experience in Database upgrades between various versions Good knowledge of Change Management process and Configuration Management Capacity Planning knowledge, especially the ability to aggregate day to day challenges into a bigger capacity planning effort Good understanding of Disaster Recovery solutions including designing, configuring and ongoing support Good experience in using Oracle Metalink to interact with Oracle Support Good oral and written communication skills, especially in communicating with the customer and escalating issues 24x7 Production Support experience and willingness to provide 24x7 support Good troubleshooting skills and ability to display analytical thinking for problem solving Varied experience in different environments – OLTP, DSS and knowledge of allied tools for ETL Willingness to work as a team and the desire to mentor juniors to raise their competency and knowledge Knowledge of ITIL and experience with working on teams which use continuous improvement methodologies to improve customer satisfaction Relevant OCP certification, an advantage SharePoint Developers Location: Manila Experience Level: 3 to 5 Yrs Proficient in SharePoint development.
