Noted IT Services Consultant Lawrence I. Lerner to Head up UST Global Consulting Organization

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - January 15, 2008 - UST Global^®, a leading provider of IT services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions for Global 1000 enterprises, announced today the appointment of Lawrence I. Lerner as the Practice Director of UST Consulting to manage and grow the company's global consulting business. Lerner brings 22 years experience as an IT strategist and chief architect for some of the world’s top brands. His experience includes more than 10 years of delivering consulting services for Cognizant and PwC Consulting using a global delivery model to enterprises in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

UST Consulting is a fully integrated business unit that drives innovation and value creation for clients via IT strategy, enterprise architecture and process improvement. Lerner will bring game-changing IT strategy and technology consulting services to the well-established IT services brand. Under his leadership, the consulting organization will focus on serving senior level executives and introducing new advisory services while continuing to provide tangible, practical and actionable deliverables. The new services Lerner will spearhead include CIO advisory services such as IT Blueprinting along with Outsourcing Strategies and Controls, and additional "hands on" services such as process and platform re-engineering, architectural diagnostics and technology rationalization.

Previously, Lerner was with Cognizant as a leader in their consulting practice. At Cognizant, he developed the Portfolio Analysis methodology, co-founded the Advanced Solutions Group which provides complex architecture and systems integration services, and introduced management consulting practices to the company. Prior to Cognizant, he was the director of eBusiness in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Management Consulting Services.

Lerner has been a strategic advisor to the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, regularly participates as a guest speaker and panelist at Gartner conferences and is often quoted in the press as an IT outsourcing authority.
