UST Global wins award for
best performing Infrastructure Services Partner for 2007-2008

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - September 24, 2008 - UST Global®(UST), a leading provider
of IT services and solutions for Global 1000 enterprises, announced it received
"The best performing Tivoli partner" award from IBM® in recognition of its efforts
in Asia Pacific for promoting the Tivoli® software brand.
Presented at IBM's annual partner summit, the award evaluates worldwide partners
in the areas of: incremental sales, revenue, number of enterprise level engagements,
practice strengths and future potential activity in the Asia Pacific region. This
award is given to the most promising partner for work completed in 2007-2008.
During the 2007-2008 timeframe UST successfully deployed over eight enterprise level
solutions on Tivoli in Asia Pacific. UST implemented the IBM Tivoli Monitoring product
at several enterprise client locations for monitoring a heterogeneous network setup.
It also worked with the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console, Tivoli Composite Application
Manager and Storage Manager for other Global 1000 enterprises.
Tivoli products play a critical role in optimizing and managing the performance
of enterprise IT systems. Tivoli is a vital aspect in today’s "On Demand" world
and provides an integrated view to manage and optimize key IT systems. UST clients
for Tivoli products include leading banks, financial services companies, two airlines
and an energy provider.

UST Global strengthens strategic alliance for infrastructure services in the Asia
Pacific market

UST and the IBM Tivoli group share a mutual commitment to the fast-growing Asia
Pacific market through providing a comprehensive range of IT infrastructure solutions
on the IBM Tivoli platform. This area of infrastructure management (that covers
network monitoring and storage solutions) provides tangible value to enterprises.
Key benefits include optimization, consolidation and performance monitoring.
Infrastructure services are a strength of UST. The UST EIMS practice (Enterprise
Infrastructure Management Services) offers a range of IT infrastructure and network
management services including hosting, network management, monitoring, storage,
remote maintenance, database administration and consulting. The UST EIMS practice
also manages the Network Operations Center and unified communication practice.
For the past two and a half years, UST demonstrated its infrastructure competency
and skills to IBM’s Tivoli product group. Throughout multiple client engagements
UST consistently shared the best practices it gained from Tivoli implementations.
To further support this partnership, UST developed a Tivoli Center of Excellence
which ../includes a Tivoli Lab, and also formed a Tivoli user group to discuss innovation
and best practices in a community of Tivoli enthusiasts. UST performs proof of concepts
and proof of technology at client locations to showcase Tivoli technologies in a
live network scenario.
